Are there any jobs available at NZRC?
All our current vacancies are listed under the ‘Jobs Available’ page.
How do I apply for a job with NZRC?
When you find a suitable vacancy with us you can apply by filling out your details on our ‘Job Application’ form and attaching your current CV and cover letter.
Once I apply online do I need to contact you?
No, you will receive an acknowledgement email once your CV has been processed. We will be in contact if we require further information.
There are currently no positions available that suit me on the website, when will one be available?
There is no way of predicting when positions will come available, however if you have skills and experience valuable to our business we can hold your CV on file for three months.
Will I be contacted if a position becomes available?
If a position which suits your skills and experience comes available within the three months we hold you CV then we will contact you to see if you are still interested.
Will my application be treated confidentially?
Your CV will only be used for employment purposes by the New Zealand Refining Company and treated confidentially in accordance with our Recruitment, Selection and Induction policy.
What kind of pre-employment checks do you perform?
If you are the successful candidate for a position with us you will need to have a pre-employment drug and alcohol test. We also require a minimum of two references from your previous employers.
